    Red patch on cory?

Sorry about the rubbish picture - they don't stay still for long!! Today I found one of my corys with a red, sore looking patch by his fin. He's as wild as ever and doesn't look poorly in himself. What should I do to treat it, or should I not worry and let it heal by itself? All other fish...

Thanks for your reply. They appear to be very healthy fish so I will carry on feeding once every 2 days :)

    Under-feeding? Cruel?

Thanks for your reply. I've been reading on the internet that some people feed twice a day - so I felt a bit mean. They do 'beg' for food when I'm near the tank but I guess they are just opportunists!

    Under-feeding? Cruel?

I feed my fish once every two days. I'm so worried about mucking up my parameters that I don't want to feed them every day. Is this cruel or acceptable?

    Overstocked?

Thanks for your reply. The gouramis currently appear to be getting on really well, will this change as they get older? I'm very strict on water changes. Once a week without fail.

    Overstocked?

I've never seen the gouramis show any aggression, they appear to get on really well. Will this change as they get older? They are not fully grown yet

    Overstocked?

I test the water weekly - ammonia and nitrites remain at 0. Nitrates never above 20, I'm still working on this!

    Overstocked?

Bn is still tiny - she will go in my 4ft when she's a little bigger If I move the barbs would it be ok? I'm considering putting them in the 4ft but a little concerned about the angels and ruby shark snacking on them?!

    Shy clown loaches

I've got 6 clown loaches which I've had for a couple of months now but they never come out when the lights are on. The tank is heavily planted with plenty of hiding spaces but they just pile into a log and never come out. I've seen other clown loaches that are very active and confident! What can...

    Nitrate!! Help!

I currently have a high nitrate level in my tank, I understand from my LFS that frequent water changes are needed to get this down. I have just tested my tap water, I know, I have far too much time on my hands. And nitrate is super high in that (see picture). I do buy 10litres of RO water once a...

German blue ram with red fins

Something's definitely not right, he's hardly moving and his black bars are beginning to show (which I understand is a sign of stress?) Here's a rubbish picture, he's been hiding in this plant all day!

German blue ram with red fins

One of my two german blue rams has developed red fins over night! He's also very lethargic. Does anyone know what it could be and how should I treat it? Water levels all fine so definitely not ammonia poisoning. Thank you
