Started up a pair of shrimp tanks a few weeks ago and they're ready to go. First tank will be for blue dreams, the second for pumpkins.

Do you know the parameters of the tank they came from? It's most likely the difference between where they were raised and yours. Can be finicky sometimes. I have blue velvets, started with 12 and had only 4 or 5 after about a month. That was February? or march... I easily have a few dozen now...

Very nice. I just set up a couple shrimp tanks myself. Was going to get this tank also to start but ended up going 15g instead. You may want to get a small block of foam to put over the overflow slots for the filter. Smaller shrimp may end up getting pulled through if they swim around some.

I have completed them. Did research before hand about using 2x2s as the legs and in the way they are, should be able to hold well over of 400lbs. They've been holding water for a couple weeks now and are rock solid. Attached the best picture I have, phone wants to turn the others sideways...
