Not planted, low tech, definitely want to do some combination of rocks, driftwood, and Java moss. Thanks I think I will go with cherry shrimp now I just need to decide which kind.

I am going to have a 20 gallon long shrimp tank. I need help on what I should do with the aquascape as well as what kind of shrimp to get. Since I'm lazy and cheap I was told some type of cherry shrimp should work well. Any ideas?

My tank is a 20 gallon long, I started a fish less cycle about 5 weeks ago. I add ammonia whenever there is very little left in the tank, and about once a week I do a water change when the nitrite levels are way too high. But every time I test the water a few days later the nitrite levels shoot...

Have you ever thought about zebra danio's? They get a bad rep for being aggressive but I have some and they are wonderful!

Ok thanks, as for the shrimp, my friend BL1ND 1ND3X has almost an identical stock in his 60 gallon tank as the stock I have posted. He obviously can fit more stuff than me but the species are the same, and yet he has 12 ghost shrimp. What is it in my stocking list that won't allow for shrimp?

Wow, thanks for all the help. I will consider all the options you guys provided and use the one I like best. Although I feel like it will end up with me cutting out the loaches since they are best in large numbers and I would have to cut back a little bit everywhere else to accommodate for them...
