Glass Diffuser - keeping the tubing on

I guess it would appear not to be the right size. The tubing and diffusor came together when I bought my pressurized system, so I made an assumption  that they should work together. Do you guys recommend the glass diffusor over a reactor? I guess I could try to make my own reacotor...

Glass Diffuser - keeping the tubing on

I have recently setup a pressurized CO2 system (my first). Right now I have the CO2 going into a powerhead for diffusion because I cannot get the tubing to stay on my glass diffuser. The tube keeps slipping off. I have even tried aquarium sealant, but invariably the CO2 finds its way out of...

    Best way to remove phosphate

I was re-reading the thread and realized that the "Some help here" could have gone over badly. I meant to say "Some help with the DRY-TAB chart", not that I was not getting any help. Just wanted to make sure I didn't anger anyone accidentally. Thanks for all the info from all the posters!

    Best way to remove phosphate

Update: I finally got my SeaChem test kit. I just did the test and it looks like I have .1 mg/L phosphate. I have purchased some RO water (in lieu of getting a RO unit) and when I do my next WC / gravel clean, I will put the RO water in. I also have some SeaChem Equilibrium to add to the RO...

    Gold Angelfish spawned

Unfortunate news...when I came in today all the eggs were gone. I can only assume the angelfish ate them. Oh well, maybe next time...

    Gold Angelfish spawned

I didn't do anything out of the ordinary in my routine. I did notice a couple of weeks ago that they were fighting - locking mouths together. I guess that was the foreplay! 8)

    Gold Angelfish spawned

Thanks. I at least put a filter cover on my intake so they won't get sucked up into the filter. And there are other fish in the tank, right now the pair are chasing them off. This is my first spawn - it was quite a thrill and surprise! :o

    Gold Angelfish spawned

My pair of Gold Angelfish spawned today on a leaf. I haven't decided yet if I will move the eggs to a separate place because I don't really have a place to raise the fry or the growing fish. Given this, what should I do if I decide I can't keep them? Just let them develop and let the other...

    Best way to remove phosphate

Update: I went to 3 LFS and neither had a phosphate test kit. So it looks like I'm ordering online. I had been looking at a DIY pressurized system. I have read several articles on it and am ready to take the plunge. When I manage to get a phosphate test kit, I'll report my findings back here.

    Best way to remove phosphate

Just curious, what is the best way to remove phosphate? I have a planted 46g tank. Occasionally I have algae problems (just the kind that grows on the rocks and glass)...I suspect phosphates. If I confirm I have excess phosphates, what can I do to remove? Thanks...
