Well, here's the thing, we don't really have a water authority. We live in the middle of nowhere. The nearest pet store is 45 minutes away.

I had a betta fish a long time ago, before I knew about the nitrate cycle. I had a bubbler for the tank, and just used distilled water. My betta lived for a long time. Now I'm thinking about getting a new one. I'm wondering if distilled or even my house's well water will be safe for the fish...

I always use a ladle! Works for me! You just dip it into the tank, catch your fish and move into the new tank, or take a picture whatever. It's deep enough so he's still in the water the whole time! It may be weird, but I think it just might be the solution to all our problems. ;)

I'm new to breeding, (and haven't actually started yet) and I'm thinking of breeding guppies. There's only one problem... What do I do with the extra guppies?! I don't want my tank getting over crowded, or some fish not being able to get enough food! I don't have money to keep getting bigger...
