Thought I'd make the title a little interesting.

Noticed a baby snail in my 10 gallon QT tank today, looked around, the only one I've seen. I have only put fish, fake decor, PVC pipes and floating amazon frogbit plant in this tank.

So I'm guessing it's from the plant, though, I put that in the tank over a month ago. Any other thoughts? Should I expect a million more of these guys?

Also, what do I do with it? Right now the snail is in a plastic baggie of water in my trash can?

You could take him to a LFS and see if they want him. Or just give him away.

I would just isolate him in a QT with a couple plants and see what he develops into. You could do the same with any others that you happen to come upon.
