    Hello all! New member here!

Thanks for the welcome! I think I am going to go with a couple snails for an invertebre. I'll read up on the zebras... I heard mystery snails are pretty good too.

Too much filtration? Is there such a thing?

I appreciate all the input guys I have gotten a lot out of this thread! To keep you all in the loop I decided to pull the trigger and add the second filter, there seems to be a good current thru out the tank now, does not seem to be too much for my little guys either. After reading everyone's...

Too much filtration? Is there such a thing?

Hey guys and gals, So as I was walking thru my local pet store the other day purchasing some food and some aquarium salts from a recent and successful battle with Ich, I found myself picking up what would be my second Marineland Penguin 350 and debating purchasing it to add it to the tank. My...

The clam was really just an idea for variety really, didn't have my heart set on the clam or the shrimp. The substrate is blue gravel anyways would that have even been suitable for a clam? How about snails?

Adding cover for my BH tetras to reduce nipping?

So the more I read about this type of tetra (bleeding heart), I have read on multiple sources they prefer darker areas? I have 8 of them in my 55 gallon tank and watching them for a few days now they do seem to like this one particular corner with increased vegetation.. And they also seem to...

    Hello all! New member here!

Thanks! I was thinking of adding some kind of bottom dweller/scavenger. Adding maybe a few more tetras and I really like dwarf gouramis. Trying to be careful with choices, from what I read BH tetras can get nippy if not kept in a decent school size. I have 8 now since I just purchased 2...

    Hello all! New member here!

Hey everyone! Wanted to introduce myself and show off my tank! This is my first tank, it's a 55 gallon. I have been following threads on here to complete my fishless cycle a few days back. I started this journey off by buying 6 Bleeding Heart Tetras. Any good advice about community fish to...
