dav3 brings up a great point. If you do regular weekly water changes, you could get away with more food or feedings.. If you do bi-monthly or monthly, you would feed less.. Same with a skimmer.. Bigger skimmer, maybe a bit more food.. Smaller skimmer, less..

The only other fish I have in that tank is the clown grouper.. Which is about 2-3".. There's also 3 eels, the smallest being 1'6"..

The tangs and betta get pretty decent sized.. The betta might get aggressive when it gets bigger.. Butterflys are hard to keep in general.. Did u get them at a LFS or online?

I agree with the other posters.. I have a bunch of hermits and trochus snails, every two days I put some nori in the tank rubber banned to a rock for them to eat.. My anemone crab and reef lobster get a silverside each when I feed my eels.. Always good to supplement your inverts' diet..

The petco near my house sells damsels for $3.99 each.. I just don't trust their tanks though, almost every fish I see there has ich.. I think the extra dollar or so I pay at my LFS is worth a disease free fish..
