2 x 48" planted plus.
I did have the old 48 in t12 tube lights in conjunction with the planted plus lights but took it off yesterday as hair algae was starting to grow in the tank.
Would adding a third light be pointless on a 75 gallon planted tank?
I have Co2 on the tank and fertilizers ect.
Also would going higher on the K value do anything for the growth of the plants?
@Brookster123. Have you had this problem before? What do you think I should do for the solutions? The solution for the fully glass drop checker is the one that changes the most. It was piss yellow today
@Ziggy953 Did that today. Split the two drop checkers to both ends of the tank and refreshed the juice in them.
I think the blue reagent in both drop checker kits are different.
So I have two different Co2 drop checkers. They are reading different colors and I can figure out why.
Any ideas on why this is happening?
The top one seems correct but the glass one that's 4 inches down is very light yellow.
Finish are not gasping at surface at all.
Well the meter directions say to multiply by 10 if it's flashing the 10x symbol.
I put the meter in some filtered water from my work and it read 007 so I'm assume it's working correctly.
My mollies like the water hard and they seem to be doing ok. I do load up my filter with crushed Atlantic...
Pump is either going to be in line with a Fluval 406 which is 300 something GPH or an Aqueon 4500 which is 1189 GPH.
That's the Aqueon 4500 set up.
I posted about its set up in another post on here.
What end should I have the Co2 input be on bottom/top? I can flip it both ways but have seen some keep it on the top where the water input is and some on the bottom as it exits the reactor.
