im currently using both of these light bulbs on my fixture, and i was told by my lfs that the 10k light gives out more algae because it has a little blue in it. would it be better if i switch out the 10k bulb and put another 6700k on it? any opions?

i hear that bristle nose plecos do a great job in a plant tank. ive seen them constanly eat and i was wondering if this was true, and if having a bristle nose pleco would benefit a plant tank

i see you decided not to use co2, and i read you were upgrading you lights, how many wpg do you ahve? if you have 3 or higher, i would strongly suggest you have co2, or you will have a big algae problem.

does hardness of the water affect co2? like if i had soft water 1-3 bps can give me... ( for example 30ppm) but if i had hard water, it would take me 4-5bps to get 30ppm. is that correct? some one once told me that and i think its true, but just wanted to double check

im having a problwm with bubbles in my reactor. i have a maxi jet 1200 as it recommended using and it has bubbles in the back and ive been trying to bleed the bbules out but it wont come out is something wrong?

is it very important to not have bubbles in the reactor? when i turn my co2 off, no bubbles are in the reactor, but when my co2 turns on, bubles are all in it, is that normal? or is something wrong? i tried to open the gas line and just let water flow into the tank, but the bubbles wont come...

hi, ive posted before about the aquamedic 1000, and its wierd, when my co2 is turned off and i only have my pump running water into the reactor, no bubbles are in it, but as soono as my co2 turns on, bubbles start forming in it, is that normal? or is there something im doing wrong?

but the bubbles in there shouldnt cause any problems right? or will it release co2 some how? i mean the whole unit is concealed so no co2 can escape anyways so everythgi nshould be ok right?
