We all tend to think inside the tank when it comes to disease, it's not always the case, there are many things in your room that have lots of potential to kill, washing your hands with soap before cleaning your tank is one, spraying any type of fly repellents, air freshener, cleaning...

Did a wc on Thursday, when I put the filter pump back on, all this brown gunge came out in to my tank, had to do another, so my question is, if I leave my filter matt loaded with bb can I clean out the rest, IE noodles and the rest, without causing a spike.............

I have a male angel who is bullying another male Angel, it is spending most of it's time in a corner behind a plant, every time it ventures out the other makes it go back, and yet at feeding times they both eat together, my question is, should I move one out into a small hospital tank, or put...

I am talking about keeping plants with out CO2 and under gravel dirt, but with t5 or t8 lights........ I see some great looking tanks, plants are lush and growing really well, yet they don't have any of the above, so what is causing this to happen in some tanks but not in others..........

Would you say salt is the Rolls Royce, and Fresh is the Ford, I have had both, I get more pleasure from fresh now, what do you think?:)

Just been watching a documentary on this and am surprised to say, this huge dam has a huge lift for migrating fish to go in, it then takes the fish up to the top river and lets them go on their journey, how cool is that, any Idea's on types of fish would be good......

Is it normal to have anaerobic conditions in the substrate. I am worrying about the dark sand, nothing smells "off" in the tank, I am doing a late wc tomorrow morning as I normally do it on Friday, it's not wise to do a deep syphon with the python is it.........:huh:
