The ballasts are JBJ electronic 55wx2. What I was thinking was I could run 2x28 on one ballast or 4x28 on both over my 12g nano or my 30g sump. This is a leftover ballast from when I retrofitted 2x250w MH in my JBJ 4x55w CF hood last year. What's the worst that could happen? 8O

Possibly stupid electrical question... I have a couple extra 65W PC ballasts laying around. Can I run 2x28w PC's with one of these ballasts? Thanks!

Actually, it is chemical grade. My sudo mentor uses it in his 5,000 gallon reef, and has been for some time with no ill effects.
