Hey all, Just set up a new 20gal yesterday, and i'm thinking about stocking. I have a sexed pair of dwarf gouramis in another tank that are going in when it's cycled, same with about 10 ghost shrimp. I'm trying to decide on another species to go in there too. Not really into tetras/danios...

Picked up a 20g at Petco today. As soon as my heater comes in I'm going to move the female to the shrimp tank for a little while while I get everything I need for the 20g and cycle it in. I'm expecting some shrimp to become food, but I really want to get the female away from that stress asap...

Haven't kept gouramis in a while, but I got a male+female pair for an extra 5.5 that I've been waiting to stock for a while. Since they've been introduced the male has been very aggressive to the female, chasing her around and bothering her constantly. Is this normal behavior for them? If not...

Tap water is reading at about 1. So it should help. Won't have a chance until Saturday. Hopefully it helps. I'll add more aeration if it doesn't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's fully cycled. PH out of the tap is around 7.2. Both of my other tanks (with mostly the same plants and same substrate) are at 6.8-7.0. Good idea on the rocks/coral. Would a major (80%) water change help? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Saw that when researching the tank a bit. Thanks. Any plant ideas to fill in the tank a bit more? Have the Java ferns and sag in there to start the cycle.
