I have lemon and glowlight tetras and they are very active and low waste producers. With a ten gallon you will only be able to stock one kind because they like to be in schools of 6 or more. Have fun!

Be sure to get the correct tubing size. I ordered the wrong size because I didn't know and had to send it back. I ended up just buying a regular heater because I was afraid that I couldn't put the tank right up close to the wall with the inline.

My glowlights are very active in my tank and eat very well! They do like to be in schools larger then 6. The males are quite a bit smaller then the females so maybe thats what you have.
