10g tank cycling trouble.

My 10 g tank has been fish less cycling now for over 4 weeks and although I have managed to get the ammonia to be dropping to 0ppm I can't seem to get the high amounts of nitrite to drop. Any advice ?

What's the nitrite level? Sometimes it just takes some patience.

2.0 ppm or above. I've done everything the same as I done in my previous tank which took half the time this one did.

Cycling can take up to 2 months. Just have patience.

You can add a little filter media from another tank to help speed things up.

Just to make sure though, what is the ph?

Ph is 8 I've started squeezing the sponge from other tank filter into new one in hope of helping it
