I've settled on a Dwarf Puffer species tank. I'll probably get 4-5... hopefully they will be old enough to tell gender so I can keep more females than males.

The tank is getting closer to finishing the cycle. I've been dosing the tank daily with NH3 and tonite my test results were 0/5/80 (for NH3/4, NO2 and NO3 respectively).

I see you've settled on a puffer, but I'll add a couple suggestions just in case you change your mind. Dwarf gouramis' colors really do pop - I have had several pairs of the powder blue dwarf gouramis and they were beautiful. In fact, I'd like to get another pair once my tank is done cycling and I get my current fish back in there. I think someone already mentioned cherry barbs and neon tetras. Fancy guppies can be a beautiful addition to a tank. And, of course, there's the ol' classic betta fish for great color-y goodness. Good luck with whatever you go with. :)
