3M colorquartz problems....

Hello

My first tank (freshwater) I used (because of rave reviews) 3M's Colorquartz Black, Grade S. I did pre-rinsing, water ran clear. Added to tank and now BOOM!.. water is still cloudy (2 weeks) did 1/3 change. Each time water level drops (changes or stop filter) i get a film across the acrylic ..needs constant cleaning.
Has anyone else experienced similar and what did u do to correct?

it really takes some time to clean. what i do is use a hose to rick up the dust then suck it out again. dont be afraid to do 60-80% water changes while gravel vacing.
