Adding another bangaii

I have a 90 gallon fowlr tank. About a month or so back, I added two bangaii cardinals. Not long after adding them, one of them died (never seemed to eat). The other one is doing great now. I would love to add another one. Would this be a recipe for disaster? Would the one I have not accept the new one, or is there a good chance they would get along?

They should do fine if both are female or a male female combination. Males do get fight. even breeders have some question about males and females if they put an unknown in a tank with another male they will fight it will be a male.
