In a new tank you may want to wait 2 weeks or more between fish. I know its hard to do but will be best for the tank and fish..
A lot of people recomend that you QT your fish for 3+ weeks before adding to the tank.

Agreed. When adding fish to a new tank you need to gives the tank's biofiltration time to catch up with the new bioload.

Agree as well, but it also depends on the amount of live rock, if any, in your tank. If you have a heavy bio filter (a lot of rock-live that is) you can go week to week adding fish. Otherwise rely on your test kits.

I was told wait 2 weeks between adding fish. I have had my set up for about 6 months and only have two fish in it right now though. Patience is key in this hobby.
