Hi all,

I am fairly new to keeping fresh water fish. I have a 150ltr tank with:
1 x rainbow shark
4 x silver mollies (plus 2 x fry. Approx 5 weeks old)
2 x tetra
1 x koi sword tail
2 x red claw crabs

I want to carefully start adding some new additions but I am a little unsure about compatibility.
Thanks in advance guys and girlies x

The first thing is every shark I've owned has been aggressive, attacking and chasing fish all over the tank which stresses them, I'm not sure which tetras you have but most need 6+ because they are schooling fish more info on the tetras and I can help you out with the stock but I cannot find 150L on aqadvisor, but your tank is approximately 40 gal

It's a homemade tank. Yes, I would say it is approximately 40gal.
I think the tetras are silver tail/tips. Not 100% sure. My shark isnt too aggressive when I have plenty of plants but I can't seem to keep them long enough without the fish eating all the leaves.! Is that normal?

Definitely check out aqadvisor.com. rainbow sharks can be nasty. We only have a 29 gallon, which was definitely part of the problem, but he bit our guppy before I actually believed that rainbow sharks need 55 gallons.
