Ammonia for cycling?

Anyone know where you can find ammonia so you can cycle a fishes tank? the hardware stores around me don't sell it
 
You can also use a piece of seafood i.e. a dead shrimp for the same effect. This is why "ghost-feeding" also works. Most fish food is made from shrimp/krill etc
 
Cool man go for it. When you reach 0 nitrite you're a water change away from right where you wanna be. Always remember plants help
 
+1 on Ace Hardware. The only other ammonia I have found is Dr Tim's Ammonium Chloride from Amazon or Dr Tim's site
 
Surfactants can be leathal in very small doses to fish. Pretty much any type soaps
