When I asked what a specific tang/surgeonfish the LFS owner had, he said it was "Lollipop" Tang. Did a search online and found nothing. I had never heard of such fish. He looked the cross between a naso tang and a light gray gold rim(powder brown) tang. Personally, I think he BS'd me and had no idea either.

Thanks in advance.

I have heard the naso's called a Lipstick Tang before but lillipop???
Agree that the LFS has no clue and came up with something he thought was cool. Could be a blonde naso.

lipstick tangs are the more common known name here in australia but im finding it hard to believe how the lfs dude is mixing that up if it is indeed a naso..

if u have pics im sure someone could ID it..

i reckon he's probably bumped up the price too, lollipop tang $4000 RARE

I actually asked another LFS owner. Apparently, he has heard of it before. It is another name for a Gold Rim Tang.
