I have my red eared slider turtle in a 20 gallon long fish tank. He is about 6 inches long, and I would like to upgrade him to a bigger sized tank. I would like to know what size tank will be the good for him for a while

Is a kiddie pool in the living room out of the question? Any larger long, wide tank will do really. My RES wound up outgrowing 20L and 40b within six years, wound up in the plastic pool with sand, etc. and now lives in a pond 11 years after I bought a cute, quarter sized turtle.

RES will need 600L / 125 gallon when fully grown :)
