Blood Worms?

Do I thaw them out first to give to my fish or keep them frozen and throw a bit in. B/c I kept them frozen and threw them in once and my angel just attacked it but it looked like she got a brainfreeze. Didn't know if that was normal or not.

My preference is to thaw and rinse, due to the amount of crap that shows up when they melt.

I like Hikari freeze dried! They last forever and are really good quality, no mess

I prefer to rinse mine in a brine shrimp net but I often find myself short on time lately and they get tossed into the tank as chunks. You can really see how much stuff needs to be rinsed out of them when you do rinse. It's worth the time to do so if you have it IMO.

I feed BW both frozen and rinsed. Either way will work.

Thats a pretty cool device.

I put some aquarium water in a cup and let the frozen cube thaw out then spoon the worms or whatever im feeding into the tank.

I also have used the feeder cones, but gave it to a friend for her tank. So, I guess I need to get another one. I just thaw mine out and spoon them in the tanks.
