She had been listless for a couple of days. This morning, right after breakfast (Saturday bloodworms), I noticed her nose first in the gravel. I coaxed her back up and she then began swimming upside down and horizontally. I decided to just leave her be and see if anything improved.

Alas, no change after two hours. I found her once again, this time laying upside down. It was tough but I knew what was happening and I did what had to be done.

She will certainly be missed.

I'm sorry for your loss. Was she one of your angels? That sounds like the same thing that happened to all 6 of my juvie angels last year.
