Any ideas how I can go about this?

I just carefully rub it with my fingers and the algae comes off

That was one of my options ,thank you

The ramshorn snails in my tank keep my anubias leaves super clean! Some people consider them pest snails, but they really don't become a problem unless there is an over-abundance of food in the tank. They're not picky - they'll eat almost anything, making them an excellent choice for a clean-up crew.

Cheers, could do with a snail or two as my assassin snails had a riot over the last year, might have to take a couple out though.
Got a few Otto cats but they don't touch the anubias. Might just have to do it physically ?
