Just curious if this is normal behaviour for a condy as I have 2 and the purple tip is acting really weird today is the second day they both have been in my tank pics are in order just not time stamped.
As far as parameters all are 0 except nitrates which test at 15-20 ppm
Salinity 1.025
Fuge full of cheato
30 gal sump
Washed filter socks day before yesterday

They look ok, it's too soon to tell I think if its only the second day. In another week if its still looking like that I would be concerned. I would do a big PWC though, those nitrates are a bit high for a nem. Aim for 0 but .5 would be acceptable...

I did a 30 gal water change last night but hubby sad I tested to early. And we are def aiming to get the nitrates down that's y my fuge is packed with cheato

Both those nems look very bleached. The one even looks kinda transparent. I see that you've only have them a short time. what kind of lighting do you have? If you have good lighting, they might recover. It's typical that nems are bleached when they're bought from stores.

I have T5 HO but we are about to upgrade to LED a friend put there panel over our tank and everything in there was loving it.
But back to the Condy yea they are very white but they do turn purple every now and then the one in question is purple tipped. Is it possible the other nem stung it while in the stores tank?
And while I was taking these photos my lights were acting up

My purple tip died got him out the tank before he could pollute it. Slight fishy smell so I flushed him hopefully the other stays going strong
