Help....I got a 40g breeder been up for 2 years now. ..got a 30 and 70 aquaclear hob...my lighting is a Aquen OptiBright LED Light...I do water 25% water change weekly. ..lately I been getting a lot of brown algae (Diatoms)....I feed once a day...4 black skirt Tetras & 3 Serpae Tetras...My lighting is on only 8 hours a day... how do I control it or get rid of it

Brown algae indicate that there is too little light. They arise in dark spots, in the corners. but make no harm.

I have had my Aquen OptiBright LED Light for almost 7 months and its on for 8 hours a day...and the algae started 2 weeks ago
