i have 2 of these fish in my 40 gallon long tank and havent really found a good food for them to eat that sinks that they will get i have frozen blood worms that never make it to the bottom because my 2 tinfoil barbs and cat fish eat all of them b4 they get a chance to eat anyone know any food that sinks to the bottom that they will like and get a chance to eat
 
Yeah ^ or some type of sinking carnivore pellet.

Also, you could use a syringe...like you can get for kids medicine and use that to squirt the blood worms directly on the bottom near the bichirs.
 
i was really wanting some type of sinking pellet but what would be a good one to get
 
Hikari makes a carnivore pellet. Chain stores like Petsmart or Petco usually carry that brand. Any brand of sinking carnivore or shrimp pellet would work.
 
I got the sinking carnivore pellets from kikari and they love it and it goes right down too them thanks everyone!!!!
