(Sorry for the sideways photo) Any idea what's up with this fish? I've had him a couple of weeks, and this lump just popped up basically overnight. I've got him isolated and I'm treating him with Furan-2 and feeding him peas but after 3 days of treatment, it doesn't seem to be helping and I'm not sure what to try next. API test kit reads 0 ammonia, nitrate, nitrate, and 7.4-7.6 pH. At this point he's still eating and swimming regularly, but I'm still concerned about him. Any advice is appreciated!

Swimmy, the lump doesn't look parasitic to me, maybe a fish virus. Research "lymphocystis".
No fish meds for viruses. If it is a virus, usually not fatal. It might even go away on its own. Good luck.

All right, I'll just keep an eye on him and see how he does. Thanks!
