We recently acquired a 55 gallon tank from a friend.with 2 kissing gourami, silver dollar, large danio, and 3 large pleco. Had a nitrite spike and lost a few others but think we are okay no (new to aquarium care). The plecos have started eating, and the large danio swims fast to catch food, but I haven’t seen the others eating much. I heard you can feed kissing gourami spinach and zucchini. Is this something we can do and if so should we cut it up?
