Fishless cycle ,any advice/help wanted

hi all
started my fishless cycle with pure ammonia 9 days ago and have been dosing to 4.0ppm ammonia every 24 hours

my test results where daily;
ammonia =4.0
ph =8.0
Nitrite =0
Nitrate=0
( after dosing correct amount of ammonia to get back up to 4.0 )

This was the case for the first 7 days then on the 8th day my results where
ammonia =4.0
ph =8.0
Nitrite =0.25 ( was my first nitrite showing up
Nitrate=0

Then the 9th day they where
ammonia =4.0
ph =8.0
Nitrite =1 ( it was hard to tell the result but 1.0 was the closest )
Nitrate=0

Just after any info if this is all ok ? ,what I should expect in the coming days ? and should I change the dose of ammonia ?

any help would be great as this is m first cycle and hoping to get it all ok

cut your dosing to 2ppm every 2-4 days. you're right on track! Looking great.
