Did anyone elses raw shrimp turn pink after a day in the tank ?

yeah, mine did, i think its because they are slowly cooking in the water from the temperature of the water, they will eventually turn black and become hairy. So where on LI are you from?

I figured you were from the island with that name, I grew up in Port Jeff, and my parents still live their. Just wondering, good luck with the tank.
