Found in live rock

Hi all
I bought some live rock today apparently (cured) and I put it in my tank and I found this little guy poking out of this hole XP
He goes in and pops out periodically (personally think it's cute XP)
umm do you know what it is and will it survive through a fishless cycle?

No clue what it is but it is neat looking

Haha I think it might have been a clam or something because it was a little bit open the other day.
Pretty sure it's dead now :S
