Not long after adding my female i started noticing white areas around the black spot on her side. During the breeding rituals I noticed the male GBR would bump the female on her side and he even does it sometimes when they aren't breeding. Well I have noticed the female have been getting worse and the white areas are on both sides now and today it looked red around the white areas on one side. She acts sick, but still eats. Her colors are looking way more pale than the male's are. oh, i almost forgot- ammonia-0, nitrates 0, nitrates-just barely registering, ph 7.0, harness, a little hard. does this looks like ich? if so how should I treat? could the white spots be missing scales from the male biting her? again I don't see the male mess with her that much and his bumping her on the side isn't very aggressive, but who knows.
