So over the past two days, I have come into an abundant amount of green (I am guessing algae) on the walls and bottom of my tank. What should I do to prevent this.green.JPG

Not sure if this applies with your particular kind of algae, however, doing more partial water changes helps with some kinds of algae. A lot of algae will grow regularly since there are lights on the tank etc. Snails can also help with algae. I have Mexican Turbo Snails which do a great job with many types of algae. One of the downfalls with them is that they can knock over things. :)
