I think I have a baby green star polyp about the size of a dime that came with the lr. The larger of these at my lfs looks like a clump of neon green grass.
What conditions do they prefer?
Thanks.

Can you get a pic and post it on the identification forum. I believe they need moderate light and current

I have two different types. I have them in moderate flow, and placed towards the mid level of my tank ( I have MH lighting). They are both growing like weeds.

Thanks. I need to get a digital camera. I will take the rock it's on to the lfs where it came from tomorrow and ask some questions. It has been in the tank for three weeks. Seemed to be growing the first week, now it apprears to be shrinking, not flourishing, as I had hoped.
I have CF, 260w total, so maybe I should just move it 'north' in the tank so it gets more light and more current?
