Hatched Neon Eggs?

Unless they were covered they will not hatch. Neon eggs are light sensitive and need to be dropped in leaf litter or something to hide them from the light. They have to stay in the dark to hatch. I did a lot of research on this when I saw mine spawning. I am hoping to be able to get mine to hatch sometime in the future. In their natural environment neon's live in darker water with a heavy substrate of leaf litter and other stuff. I have seen were people use marbles in the bottom of their tanks so the eggs fall into the cracks and are protected from the light. I have been thinking of doing that.
