hello all, i need help

while doing my monthley filter cleaning ive come to find alot of bugs in one of my cicilid tanks and one of my turtle tanks. I can only assume it came from feeder fish i got couple weeks ago. I have no clue what they are or how to get rid of them, they only noticeable in the filters.

How big are they? Would you describe how they move about...quick darting? Hovering? Crawling?

i would say slightly smaler then a pencil lead and fairly quick smooth swimmers. ones that i had removed from water to look ar closer seem to die or become inactive since they no longer move in water, im unable to notice legs or fins of any kind. this pic is further away in the bucket i had put filter in, the bugs ar all the small black dots.
