Hi, I'm new and looking for advice and tips on starting a tank... I've never owned an aquarium myself, my parents had one when I was little, but I'm pretty much a complete noob.
We are planning on setting up a 125-150 gallon tank for cichlids, and I'm getting a 40-55 gallon tank with fancy guppies. We're both pretty much new to fish and are doing a lot of research before even buying tanks so hopefully we will we know what we're getting into, and be prepared

Thanks, I've been reading the advice in the forums for noobs starting a tank, especially fishless cycling. I am wondering what kind of cost I'm looking at to buy all the supplies besides the tank itself? water filters, test kits, heater, ect?
