Help with a Community Tank

Hi guys, I am currently cycling a brand new 40 gallon breeder tank (freshwater). I am looking to do a nice variety of fish for a community tank such as bottom feeders, schooling fish, and maybe a nice center peice fish. Not really interested in corys because i have them in my other 29 gallon. Just looking for some advice on what would be some peaceful fish to stock in this new tank i have upcoming. Thanks

Harlequin rasboras are gorgeous and compatible with many nice centerpiece fish.
