How can we reduce the flow of our Hydor pumps?

We purchased 3 of the Hydor Koralia Evolution 750 gph. circulation pumps and placed just 2 of them in our 45 gallon tank, one on the back, and one on the front - within 1 hour the fish were sitting on the bottom of the tank, exhausted. Is there a way to reduce the flow or a product that would do that for us?

I think that's alot of flow. u only need 2 750's

We never added all 3 as 2 seemed like too much flow and stressed out our fish. Actually, with just one of the 750's running the fish were being blown around.

Maybe get the wave controller so it keeps switching from one to the other.

That dont seem like to much flow try repositioning them

Point one up to the surface so you create oxygen in the water.

But their fish might not have been raised in the ocean. Tank bred fish might not be used to heavy flow.

I'd angle them towards the surface, just play around with it. Better to have too much than to little. What kind of flow are you going for?

Thank you for the help. We were able to get them both positioned well. Our current flow rate is 2180 gph. (48.44 X).
