How to clean Old gravel?

I have old aquarium decorations and gravel I would like to use in my new tank. How do I clean everything properly.

Hot water for your decorations and a scrubbing brush, no soap as you may know, and for the gravel I use warm water and keep turning it with my hand, empty and repeat until water runs clear, you can use baking soda for stubborn dirt

Usually vinegar and/or hot water does the trick.

55 Gallon- Empty
125 Gallon- CKF and Tiger Oscar
220 Gallon- To come...
