my water is fine. the heat caused my drift would to leach tannins.

Yes. That would do it but it would be a tea colour not cloudy.

i did a 50% water change about two hours ago just to be safe. the ich is clearing up the spots are gone. the heat is set at 86 and i will keep it there. im not using meds for it until the heat treatment is over.

There should be no need for meds once the heat treatment is over.
