Jebao canister filters - great value or not?

I'm considering ditching my HOB for a canister filter. I did a quick search and found a Jebao canister filter 200 gph for $55 on ebay. I have a 60g tank.

I am definitely working to a tight budget but it's not a good deal if it doesn't work or breaks after 2 months.

Anyone got experience with this cheap brand?

Don't you want 10x tank capacity filtration per hour? If so, that would be under filtered. Have you looked at SunSun filters? Apparently they are pretty decent.

Hmmm...ok I thought you needed 3x tank capacity. Thanks I'll research that further and look at SunSun.

Cascade filters are pretty good as well and fairly cheap, as canister filters go.

OK thanks, yes I see those now. I just have to figure out if they will fit in my cabinet/stand!
