I am thinking about selling my tank or trading for a 30G or so fresh water setup. What would be a fair asking price?

Its a drilled oceanic 58G tank with a 20G long for a sump and a decent black stand. The sump has plates in it for a bubble trap.

depends... what do tanks like that go for in your area? how much did you pay for it? Around here, being drilled and having a sump, you might get $200-250... its probably worth more, but its hard to get much out of tanks because of the amount on craigslist... just a thought, but why not make it a fw setup?

I know here in NE Ohio must of the SW set-ups I have seen have ranged in price from about $350 to $900+ (on craigslist)

your signature says you was going to make a reef out of it wat made you change your mind just wondering....... 58 gal is a great size for a salt tank bit deep of a tank tho but why the loss of intrest in a reef....

I cant do it where I live and I dont see me being able to move anytime soon and its in the way.

Ah man.. that stinks that you aren't going to go through with the reef :(. For a tank like that? I would definitely ask for 150+ It has a nice overflow and everything. If it was going for 150 i would buy it. Assuming i had the money at the time lol.

I live in an apartment complex on the 2nd story plus there is just no room. When I get into a house I will do a reef setup. But for now I think I will just stick with FW I am sure like a 30G FW would be fine in there.
