Greetings all,
I recently purchased my very first coral, a leather coral, and I noticed that the ruble rock it was attached to was becoming loose. Today in the morning the leather coral looked a little limp from the stem and it also detached from the rock. Is this normal or should I be worried? Is there anything that can be done to help it attach it's base to the rock surface? I did the drip acclimation method for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Thanks in advance for any advice.
By the way, here are my parameters:
pH: 8.1
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10 ppm at the most
Specific Gravity: 1.023-1.024
