Leveling & Base sand for brick walkway/patio installs.

Well browsing through Lowes to see what lighting was available, I wandered into the landscaping section.

Saw the 50lb bags of play sand but then noticed 2 other things. There was Base & Leveling sand. The Leveling sand looked about as fine as play sand but the base stuff looked more bigger in grain size.

Anyone know for sure?

Honestly, I'd have to see a photo or see it in person. We don't have a Lowes here though, but I suspect HOme Depot carries something identical.

super fine play sand doesn't work well for planted tanks...it packs down too hard and suffocates roots, and it doesn't distribute nutrients very well.
