LIVE ROCK Hitch Hiker identification!!

i recently bought close to 4kilos of live rock and had left it overnight in the tank and when i woke up i found this (photo is attached) moving around in the sand bed?? what is it??? is it good for my tank??
help ???
it s about 1 inch big

Looks like a brittle star fish maybe, need a better pic though. Some brittle stars aren't reef safe. Some are good to have.

No need to freak out... If you want it out. Put some food in your tank and turn your pumps/power heads off. It should come out to scavenge food.

I have over thirty of them in my reef they all came in on rock except the one I bought. Most are reef safe. I've never had a problem with them and IMO they are excellent cleaners

Yeah it looks like a mini brittle star. Harmless, reef safe, and good CUC member. Don't get rid of it.
