Just sharing. I saw my snail sticking out this freaky tentacle and had to share. Haven't seen this thing sticking out before or since. Lol.

It can it has a lung thing and gill function. Thats how it can go out of the water and crawl around some/and lay eggs.

They sure do! It's fun to watch them protrude their air-tubes out of the water and watch as they slowly draw air into their lungs. (Do snails even have lungs?)
